WHATS IN A NAME?
Lenscowboy’s name is double-barrelled.
It’s a nod to my love of cinema, and story, as framed through the lens of a camera.
It’s also a tribute to my late grandfather and his affinity for the mythic American West.
He was an old-world man who served in the Second World War, had a penchant for Louis L’Amour novels and who loved the African bush and the wild freedom and independence it inspired.
He wasn’t perfect but he taught me to stand tall and to call a spade a spade.
